| Something up with Sammy Not sure what is up with Sammy. About five weeks ago he had his yearly check up, blood work, fecal, and urinalysis and everything came back great. Well four weeks ago he had a little bump come up on the side of his face and it had a little scab on it so when Callie went in for something we took Sammy and she said let it heal on its own and just keep an eye on it. Well it is now really hard and had a lot of dry crusty blood around it. He is going to the vet Monday to have it looked at but I am really worried about it. I just gave him and Callie a bath and carefully washed it and got the nasty stuff around it washed away but it dosent look like a pimple or like it has a head but it is extremely hard and just got that way within the last week. It seemed to pop up really fast. He also within the last week or two started peeing and pooping in the house. He is my moms dog and only comes to our house once or twice a week and never has accidents here. He just turned 8 on the 19th of November and he is a rescue my parents have had for about 3 years. Any idea about what the bump could be and what could cause the sudden potty accidents?

| Max has had a couple of mysterious bumps -- one was a blackhead, another a pimple, and the third, I don't know. I think it may have been related to a whisker on his cheek, closer to his ear. It sounds like Sammy's. It was small and went away. I put coconut oil on it, lol. I hope Sammy's bump is nothing and that the potty accidents are not related. It's always good to have bumps checked out if they linger.

| Have you seem him scratching at it? That might be the reason for the blood.

| He has scratched it twice here. I'm gonna make sure my mom watches him and puts the cone on him if he won't leave it alone. He is very easy to distract though.

| I'm trying to look at the positive side that if it is his tooth maybe that could explain the potty accidents a a few little changes in his behavior. I will be checking it as soon as they get here tomorrow. If it is the tooth at least we know what it is and how to fix it. Poor little man.

| I tried to look at his tooth but he was not really happy about it so I could not see it really well. Our appointment is at 12pm tomorrow. i will try to update yall after it. We are fasting him just in case. He is acting like he is hurting a bit but not fever. I was looking at his eye because he had a hair in it and I noticed he has a small little bit of film or slim floating around in there. I hope it wasn't an abscess that go so bad it spread it his eye like I read it could. Feeling so bad for him I wanna cry and I want it to be his appointment time already so we can know whats going on.

| So glad Sammy didn't have to get his tooth pulled. Now, we'll see if the antibiodics will clear-up the infected "bump". Many good wshes & prayers for a speedy recovery, Sammy! LOL Sue & Taffy |
