| Freeze dried peas I was at petsmart as a puppy class with a yorkie and yorkie mix was ending and they asked if Lola wanted to come in and play. Lola had a great time and I liked the trainer, so we're going to take classes with them . One of the ladies was giving her dog freeze dried peas and she gave a few to Lola, she LOVED them. The lady was nice enough to give us some to take home. The bag she had was 1.4oz and it's a lot of peas, well over a cup. Half the bag is 80 calories. I had no idea these existed and defiantly wouldn't have thought to give them to Lola. I might have to stop using them for training because she likes them a little too much. |

| Be wary... dried anything will absorb moisture from the intestines, and could possibly cause a blockage, especially in small dogs.

| Peas also causes flatulence (gas) & mild abdominal discomfort in high amounts.

| I give my boys frozen peas, thawed in warm water. My boys are big, about 9 pounds, and I don't give them more than 4 to 5 in a single day. Peas add bulk to the stool.

| Thanks for the warnings. I'll cut back to only using them for important things, like getting things away from her. |
