| Red eye I took Josie to the vet Monday Sept. 30th cause the day before she had green goo coming out of her eye and the white if her eye was red. Vet checked her eye out put the stuff in it to make sure there was no scratch. Gave me the antibiotic eye drop for the eye for 7 days. Said it was pink eye put in both eyes. Eye cleared up by last Friday I continued the drops till Monday. Today I was looking in her eye and the white is red again. Has anyone experienced this? I'm thinking now, it wasn't pink eye. I did put the drops in her eye again this morning. I can't take her to the vet again till Monday I have to work today and tomorrow morning. I don't have anyone else that could even meet me there with her. My job's location changed and right now I am 50 miles away from home, before they moved us I could do it during lunch. I'm just worried what this is? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Did you give the first round of drops for the *entire* recommended duration? If you stopped early, then the infection likely returned. But even if you gave them the recommended duration, infections can still return. Perhaps it's a resistant strain and the vet will want to try a more aggressive med this time. I hope it clears up soon .
