Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thinning hair I have another question...Jasper's hair is thinning out on his head. We took him to the vet yesterday for his next round of shots and asked about it. He told us that it is not unusual for Yorkie pups to lose their baby hair and that it would grow back. I am just curious if any of you have ever ran across this issue; will it be his whole body and does it take a long time to grow back? His skin looks good and a healthy pink, he doesn't scratch or have any hot spots... Thanks for any info y'all can share. Just trying to be the best Yorkie mom I can be.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Jasper's roots are silverish, too! I feel so much better knowing its not just my Jasper. Guess we will all have a few little bald-headed cuties for a little while. Lol

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Yes, it is perfectly normal. There is nothing to be concerned about, its the natural process of the Yorkie growing into adolescence and loosing their puppy fluff and getting the more silky thinker hair. Yorkie's will go through two to three color changes in a life time the older they get. Here is a thread and a web site that may help you understand better: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pup...rt-thread.html When Do Yorkies Change Colors? | eHow.com
