| Veggies I see so much opposing info on what veggies are good or not. For instance one site sill say broccoli is good and on another it says it's deadly. So what veggies do you feed your Yorkie?

YT 2000 Club Member | Mine love green beans, peas, carrots and sweet potatoes! I really haven't tried any thing else as far as veggies go! They also love apples, bananas, oranges, pineapple & yogurt! Of course, fresh is best, but you can give frozen or canned that has been drained and rinsed! (salt free)

| He loves frozen green beans and raw carrots. Huey will also eat lettuce, cabbage, green peas, corn & potatoes. The cabbage & potatoes are rare treats. He's eyeing my brussels sprouts right now, but I don't know if they are safe, so none of those for now. I haven't given him any broccoli that I can remember, but if a human is eating it, he is all for trying it himself.

| Must be moderation. I only give him a few pieces of the crunchy stuff near the middle. No runs from that. I was more worried about gas from the cabbage, but that doesn't seem to be an issue, either. Oh, did I mention Huey is a goat that looks like a yorkie? He can eat anything and if it is indigestible, he just passes it straight through...

| Veggies well all of mine like steamed veggies. but they like anything when I am cutting carrots up and they hear it they coming running and sit until I give them some. Green beans they like, bananas in a frozen cup I cut up raspberries, strawberries, coconut, and freeze it. take it out and watch them go after it... Cheryl |

Rofl. I was out eating last night and I find myself looking at the menues to see if anything is edible. Like a salad no dressing, no spices or veggies steamed no seasoning. Just a thought really, but I will probably bring special things for him to eat if I am going out and bringing him along. So he feels special too!

| Broccoli is safe. I have never noticed diarrhea with small amounts of lettuce.

| Mine have always eaten, fresh green beans, peas, brocolli, carrots, swiss chard, summer squash, zucchini, brussels, bok choy, cauliflower, kohlrabi and now and then I cut up steamed kale into their meal. These are the veggies they like. The rest, not so much, but for a crunchy snack, that I don't steam, they do like jicama. Never had a sick dog from eating healthy foods.
