| Homemade Chicken Jerky Make your own chicken jerky | Life With LuLu (and Wally, too!) My sister e-mailed me this link this morning and I thought I should share it with YT. My pups LOVE chicken jerky but, with all the recalls, there is no way I'd ever buy store bought again! My sister did make this today and apparently it was a big hit with her 3 pooches. I haven't yet tried this myself, but it seems like a pretty easy recipe.

| I dehydrate chicken all the time for my boys and don't add anything to it. They go crazy for it...and it's so simple, LOL

| Yeah, I don't think she actually added the seasoning when she made it. I don't have a dehydrator, so I thought this was pretty cool.

| Thats a great idea. Use a food processor first then use a dehydrator? How long in the dehydrator? |

| I don't refriderate - there's no need. As long as its completely dehydrated and in an air tight container or bag it'll last quite a while. If you're ever in doubt though, you can freeze it for many months and then thaw it.
