I have a new treat recipe I want to try. It is grain free and sounds healthy for my pups. It has sweet potatoes as the main ingredient. My question is: It also has coconut milk and coconut flour in it. Is this a safe alternate for dogs in place of whole wheat flour? Also, where can I find coconut flour and coconut milk? My grocery store doesn't carry these items.

I can find coconut flour and coconut milk in the health food section of my local Kroger or Whole Foods. If you can't find it at your grocery store, then order from Amazon or an online health food business.

So it is safe for yorkies......I will look in a health food store, as my grocery store doesn't have a section like that.

Wow, I was just reading the benefits of coconut milk/flour for dogs! I am defiantly going to find the ingredients for these dog treats! I am trying to go all grain free with my pups. Thanks for the help!
