| Eye seems to have a tiny spot Hi everyone. This one is hard to explain but I'll do my best. Wallee seems to have a spot in the middle of one of his eyeballs that almost looks like a bit of the stuff that runs from the eyes but it never goes away. I have closed his eye to see if it moves but it never seems to. It doesn't seem to have any colour to it and he doesn't seem bothered by it. You have to look very closely to see it. Basically it just looks like his eyeball is not smooth. My husband noticed it months ago and until I was looking at him in a different light the other day and noticed it again I had forgotten about it. Any idea? He is only 9 months old. |

| Are you sure it wasn't a hair? Once Bogie got a hair right in the center of his eye. I had him outside and saw it in the light. I about had a stroke and took him in. It kinda looked like a bubble on his eye. Had the same thing happen with Jada just a couple of months ago. Hers was a hair too and it was a long hair and was under her eyelid. I would take him in, It could be the hair is in his eye like it was in Jada's it was in there tight.

| It could be an ulcer on the eye, or stubborn eye gunk. If it is an ulcer or scratch to the eye, your vet should easily be able to tell how deep or serious it is and eye drops will help with the healing process or with pain if there is any. We went through this recently with Moka. I was terrified she had a serious problem but her's was not very deep at all and healed quickly with the drops.

| I am pretty sure it was stubborn eye gunk. My husband and I both looked and looked today even with a magnifying glass. There was a bit of fresh eye gunk though, same as last time. I clean his face every day to clear the gunk with a soft babies cloth and warm water. I noticed that the 2 times I have seen this the gunk in the corner of his eye seems a little thicker. Next time it arrives he will be getting examined by his....... DR..... shhhhhh...... Did I say that???? Lol |
