I know that peanut butter is ok for dogs to eat, but are plain peanuts ok??
I spilled a can of them, and before I had a chance to reach and clean them up Ramey had already beat me to it.

I know some nuts doent digest well. I dont know about peanuts but my Husband has given them to our dogs and they were fine.

The only nut I am aware of (that is bad for doggies) is the macadamia nut...

Macadamia nuts are toxic for dogs. I don't know of other peanuts.

my vet said the oil in peanuts tends to irritate human and dogs stomachs...he said it's just sometimes difficult to digest

A lot of people are allergic to peanuts -- other than that I have never heard of any other problems. Peanuts have never bothered my stomach nor anyone elses I know.
