| Got my Darwin's order today Everything was neatly packed in a styrofoam container with dry ice and shipped inside a cardboard box. The trial package is a mix of the different proteins and you get a handy little container to thaw the packages in the fridge so there's no mistaking them for anything else. I thawed one package of the chicken, since that's what they have been eating in the raw food and I thought it would make the transition easier, they each got half of one package for their supper. When I opened the package I looked at the mix and it was very well blended with fresh ingredients and it looked like a good healthy food. And the votes are in... 2 paws up... ...they loved it! So, we'll see how it goes over the next few weeks and if it goes well and we have no issues I will continue to order Darwin's for them. |

| Darwin raw food I ordered the introductory order today after asking my vet what she thought of a raw food diet. I only ordered chicken because it is Hershel's favorite meat. I asked where the got their chicken from and they stated the USA. Last edited by Herschel; 06-15-2012 at 07:01 PM. |

I am thinking of ordering a trial pack. I still have 1/2 a bag of the NV organic chicken medallions, which Ry is doing Great on. | |

| Hi Riley. My vet saaid she didn't have any good or bad data on a raw food diet but acknowleged that amny people are going that route. She said to try it if I wanted to and have Herschel checked after a month and see if it was have any bad affects on him. She liked the idea of him getting a better diet if that in fact what it is. |

| Well, I spoke too soon...the beef mix doesn't agree with Maddie Jo, she tossed it both times I gave it to her so it might be too rich for her tummy...she's fine with the chicken though. But, Megan is doing fine with both the beef and chicken flavors so far |

| Thanks for the update!! I was looking at Darwin's Facebook page and saw that a few dogs were tossing their cookies on the chicken formula.... I got a call today for my menu consult. They left me a voicemail so I am going to call them back tomorrow. Riley's skin is looking better and better on the NV organic chicken. |

| I haven 't received my Darwin's order yet so in the mean time I am feeding Herschel Natures Variety Beef. He LOVES it. He has always hated dry food and ate it minimumaly. He is gaining weight though. Now I only give him two patties a day. That's only two ounces but at three he has gained weight. Anyone have any thoughts on this? |

| I got a call back from the Darwin's rep and returned her call. But still haven't heard anything back yet. So happy to hear that your baby's seem to love it!

| I feed NV and my dogs LOVE it. I rotate through all of their meats except the rabbit since I found out that one product comes from China. I feed 2 1/2 medallions per day. Zoey weighs just under 6 lbs. At night I feed green beans or peas or about 20 pieces of NV kibble. Just lately I have noticed that Zoey is licking her feet. Will keep an eye on the situation and maybe have to switch brands - perhaps Primal.

| Doing just fine. I received coupons for their new Duck raw. I bought it and she likes it. But then again, Zoey like all food. She is a good eater.
