| Fishbones in natural balance food? I've been trying to switch off natural balance grain free fish and sweet potato food but she is still getting some while I'm transitioning her. Last night we noticed a sharp splinter sticking out of her skin on her face. When we got it out I noticed it looked like what I see in her food. I always figured it was part of the food and it was soft. I started pulling some out of the can I realized they are very sharp! I'm so upset she's been eating this since march. Some are even a half an inch long! I'm so disgusted with dog foods at the point! Not sure if the kibble has them. I took some to my vet and she agrees that they are fishbones. I emailed the company but haven't heard a response. |
