| I posted this on couple of other threads. One when my Jack got sick and then on the thread when this come out. In Dec 2010 my Jack almost died from these things. I think my fast acting getting him to the vet keep him from dying. I use to give my 2 these treats they loved them. I only gave them about 1 each about every 3-4 days cause more then that would give the ones. I come one after noon from work and there was throw-up and loose stools everywhere. Could not figure out what could be going on cause nothing had change in their diet. This continued during the evening and after asking repeatedly the BF did he give them anything, he finally stated confessing the next morning after seeing how sick they both were. He had giving them about 3 ea in an hour period. Took them to vet, told them what they ate and no one thought that had anything to do with. I was convinced it was. After running blood work and putting both on IV's Josie stated getting better by end of day. Jack was not. He was not worse but not better. Brought them home full of I.V. med and took back for check up next day. Still needed Another run of I.V. By mid afternoon Josie was coming out of it and eating solids. Vet was getting Jack ready to be taking to a specialist hospital. Took him there for another 24 hours ran test did X-rays and more medicated I.V. Jack got better but was not out of woods. I took home because it was week end and felt time he might would come out if it better at home and with meds. By Sunday was eating some solids and holding down. I tried to convince the specialist and my vet I know it was them treats. I don't think they believed me. Jack to this day has stomach issues and I really have to watch what we give him to eat. It cost me 3,0000.00 and needless to say every time I see the display of these or see someone buying these I try to Tele them those treats are deadly. I know first hand. |
