| Callie was on it when she was having pain in her front leg and another time when it was seeming like her LP was bothering her for the very first time. We had no problems and it seemed to help.

| This is my preferred drug to use when needed. I have never had a problem with it all.

| Metacam is what our vet had Jada on after her surgery for removal of a mass on her back. It worked really well and she had no side effects from it.

| Thank you! I was a little worried cuz shes soooo quiet and still a little shaky..her appetitie isn't great but she is eating (handfed) and drinking when I offer. She seems comfortable, however. You guys are the best!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Metacam is what my vet recomends for acute pain, My Prada, Harry and Chanel, all got metacam after their spay and neuter surgeries, also Prada got it when she had leg surgery, I rather pay a little more for metacam than Rimadyl. hugs, Last edited by carmen in nj; 05-05-2012 at 07:20 AM. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have used it for Pixie after LP surgery and Cali when she had a sore leg related to her LP. They both did fine on it.

| Zhoie was on it when she had a bad shoulder injury at 6 mos and then recently when she had her AAI surgery. She didn't have any problems with it either.

| All my pets have been on metacam at one time or another (after spays/neuters and bladder surgery, etc.). None of them have had problems with it at all and I prefer to use it over others as this seems to help manage their pain well. |

| One of our Boxers was on Metacam for a couple of years, to alleviate arthritic pain in her shoulder It really did the job - no side effects - and I'm sure we would have lost her much earlier if it hadn't been prescribed to help her....Sally x |
