| Help, My Dog Has Dandruff! I have noticed that my 5 month-old Muffin is getting more and more dandruff. I give her a bath once a week using the CC hair system. She gets brushed FAITHFULLY every night. She eats Royal Canin dry puppy food with a wee bit of Wellness canned mixed in. Her coat seems to be dry and I can't figure out why. I did read somewhere that I could give her a teaspoon of olive oil mixed in with her food once a day. Does anybody else do this or do you have other tricks to keep the flakes away? |

| I mix salmon oil on the food but I bet olive oil would do the same thing. I bathe every two weeks and dont have a problem with dandruff. My dogs eat Royal Canin also and just a word of warning. I am switching because my dog has allergy problems that arent getting any bettter with the meds and so we suspect it is the food.

| Try Drs. Smith and Foster vitacaps for small dogs. Does wonders for Edie's skin. Take about a month to see results....I think omega-3 fatty acids are the trick. |
