| CET Chews I am so disappointed I ordered these for my two and they came today. I have to be so careful when giving Jada anything new, because of her allergies. I was reading the ingredients and one of them is....poultry digest. I had to google it so I could make sure it wasn't actually poultry/chicken as that is the main thing that makes her itch so badly. Here is what I found http://www.naturalcanines.com/gpage9.html Animal Digest material which results from chemical and/or enzymatic hydrolysis of clean and un-decomposed animal tissue. The animal tissues used shall be exclusive of hair, horns, teeth, hooves and feathers, except in such trace amounts as might occur unavoidably in good factory practice and shall be suitable for animal feed. So I guess Jada won't be getting to try them. Why do they have to put chicken/poultry in about everything you buy for your furbutts

| It's hydrolyzed form so she may be able to tolerate it.

| Jada and Bogie both love bullies and Texas toothpics. I was trying to give them some variety Oh well...it isn't the end of the world

| Really!! I may try just a little bit of a chew and see how she does. I can usually tell by the next day if she is going to have issues. Thanks Cathy

| I hope Jada can tolerate them. We are loving our CET chews. The boys teeth are pearly white again. They had "mild tartar" according to our vet, and now they have almost none. I am also doing a better job brushing with the CET toothpaste, but I credit the chews.

| We love the toothpaste and Virbac is a company I trust, which is why I wanted to let them try these. Jada has a much smaller mouth than Bogie and she gets tartar so much quicker than he does. I hope she can tolerate them too ( we have our fingers and paws crossed)

| Which size chews do you use. Buster did not like the smallest size the long sticks so we got the next size up but had to watch him like a hawk because once they got small he would choke down the last piece and since it is beef hide I thought rawhide and blockage so I stopped giving him them. He has not been a happy camper and has let me know. I was thinking about trying the sticks again.

| Hopefully she will be ok with them. If she cannot tolerate the CET chews, there are other choices available for her. Bully sticks and himalayan dog chews are two choices that contain no chicken. Antlers would be another, but aren't quite as much of a hit with my guys. |

Plus, holding the chews helps prevents the guys from chewing off too much of their beards.

| I am going to hold them for Jada and Bogie next time too. When I was finally able to pry Jada's out of her mouth, there was a tad bit of her beard on it, where she had chewed through the hair

| I will try that although I get that look from him Mom these are mine but that is better than the fun game of chase/drop it/ trade that we play when it starts getting small. I started to know when they were becoming too small because he would go off and hide. They are too smart!!!

Last night, I had to chase Max down because he got away from me with his chew. After I took care of him, I sat down to do some work. I noticed Max was lurking and staring at Teddy in his bed under my chair. That is when I realized Teddy still had his chew and was hiding! Teddy is normally so cooperative, but the chews turn him into Max, so I had to coax it away from him.

| Mine do not like them. I'm just disappointed in the treats period. I think you are better off making them or just sticking to carrots, apples and things natural. |
