| What dog food should I change to? So my dog is finishing up her bag of Innova, and I was wondering if I should change her food? I was going to go guy some this weekend because I get 30% off at Petsmart, but I don't know what to change it too. Should I just keep her on it, even though I heard that were bought out by Proctor and Gamble, or switch it to something else? My options are Blue Buffalo, Innova, Wellness, AvoDerm, Bil-Jac, Natures Recipe, Castor & Pullux, or Royal Canine? |

| We had been feeding Innova but when P&G took over, we have switched to Fromm. (Surf & turf grain free).

| If she's doing well on the food, there is really no need to change. Why fix it if it isn't broken? But at the same time with the P&G buyout, personally I don't think I would feel comfortable feeding that food although I know there's many members on here that are feeding Innova & arn't having any issues. It's just personal preference really. I've always been a fan of Blue Buffalo (as has my dog lol) so that's what I would recommend but you have to do what's best for your dog. Good luck! |

| I like innova. Dont do bijac not a good ranking food. It's considered junk. I used to feed biljac years ago before I knew better. Last edited by tinalove; 12-08-2011 at 01:14 PM. |

| I used Innova but switched a while back to Fromms Dogfood. I am happy with it and my little Kinder loves it. |

| Out of your list, I would only consider BB, Wellness, or Innova. If your pup is doing well, don't change. If you think your pup cold do better--change it up. Viv

| I don't really have a problem with the P&G buyout so far. It does make me a tad nervous -- I know they've been known to change things in the past, but I don't think it's really enough reason to stop feeding if your dog is doing well on it. I think Innova and California Natural/etc are fine choices. I've been feeding Fromm for almost two bags now and pretty happy with it so far. I love the company, they have fantastic customer service, plus I really trust them which is an awesome feeling to have in your dog foods company. I hope all continues to go well for us on this food since Jackson loves it so much and so do I.
