| Help i need advise with my baby Lola Allergies. Hello Everybody, Unfortunately My 1 year old Baby Lola has allergies. I took her to the vet and he gave her an anti itch spray and also prednisone. It breaks my heart seeing her in such an uncomfortable state. My question is has anyone had problems with their baby and allergies? I will greatly appreciate any advise. Thank you Dina |

| Please call your vet if she is itching in spite of prednisone. Prednisone is usually very effective w allergies. I would be concerned if she was still itching in spite of prednisone.

| Good morning, I had the same issue with my boy too and I recently switched over to Blue Buffalo Basics Line for sensitive stomach. It is recommended for dogs with allergies. I narrowed it down to my baby being allergic to chicken and apples. You can almost instantly tell he gets itchy right after he had a chicken flavored treat. We are trying the turkey & potato flavor and i cant stress how well he is doing on it. No more scratching and discomfort - and he loves it!

| Callie has environmental allergies and our vet gave us Hydroxyzine and it works great. I would make sure its not a food allergy or you could be just continuing to give her something she is allergic too.

| Mine had allergies and I changed her food. Her eyes were watering, she was scratching and biting her paws. I changed to Natural Balance LID (no grain or chicken) and most everything cleared up. Her watery eyes got better. They still water just a little, but she quit scratching and biting her paws. I hope you find out what's causing the allergies, but for me it was a food change.

| I had problems with dex and allergies when I had switched his food to wellness supermix5 puppy. He scratched more, eyes were more watery and had gas. I switched him back to TOTW which he has never really had a problem with other than he has watery eyes, but I think that has more to do with hard water. Hope you figure it out for your little one . |
