| ![]() My baby just had bladder stone surgery and a liver biopsy. He is going in and out of shaking since he's been home has anyone experienced this after surgery? The vet said it's normal but it's still scaring me. Has anyone experienced this? |

| ![]() Three likely causes are pain, affects of pain drugs, and affects of anesthesia wearing off. What pain med is he on? It's a very painful surgery on the pain med being given may not be adequate. When was surgery? Is he urinating okay?

| ![]() I forgot the name of the pain Meds and I don't want to get up because he is sleeping so soundly on me lol. He takes it every 6 hours though. He had the surgery on Thursday night at around 6. I brought him home yesterday at around 5. He has been having urinate about every 2 hrs and after the first amount comes out he keeps trying to go more but nothing comes out. He seems to be in pain almost uncomfortable. The incision is about 4 inches because they had to explore the liver too. I feel so bad for him ![]() |

| ![]() Antibiotics too? It would probably be Rimadyl (Carprofen), Metacam, Tramadol? Still don't know if there is a liver problem? Sometimes more than one pain drug is needed. It's been 48 hours, so I'd hope the shaking would have stopped right now. Is it consistent or just a few minutes a day? If he is still shaking consistently, I'd really be thinking about contacting a vet this evening to see what can be done.

| ![]() No antibiotics. It's none of those as soon as he wakes up I will look. He most likely has mvd because they did not find a shunt in his liver. The shaking is pretty consistent on and off. The vet said it's probably because he is in pain. |

| ![]() So sorry your baby isn't feeling; hopefully your vet will be able to get him back on track. Hope he starts to feel better quickly.
