Donating YT 500 Club Member | What do you use to stuff their Kong with? I am looking for some ideas for Taycie's kong. She loves it, but I need some new ideas especially because she has a super sensitive stomach. She LOVES baby food, I buy this sometimes because I know it won't upset her stomach. Occasionally, I will also add a little wet food as well.. Anything dairy/fish I have to stay away from... What do you use?

| I use peanut butter or Cheese Whiz ( i don't know if this has milk since it's not refrigerated). You can also freeze whatever you do try for a longer lasting treat & a cooler one on hot days.

| You say you need to stay away from dairy... so I won't be any help. I use frozen plain non fat yogurt. Would that upset her tummy? It usually helps an upset stomach, actually. I just put it in the Kong, stuff it, freeze it for a few hours and then he loves it. I often will stick some treats in the middle of the yogurt too. I have the weird dog who can't stand peanut butter... so we've never been able to do that, lol.

| We've been really boring with the Kong lately. I've just been putting kibble in there and sealing it with peanut butter. I bet Levi's getting bored of that. I used to be much more creative about it. Levi does love a frozen Kong though. It makes it last so much longer, and it is especially fun for him to have when it's warmer. I've put veggies (like green beans and peas) in the Kong with plain non-fat yogurt or diluted low-sodium chicken broth and freeze it overnight. It takes him so much longer to work through when it's frozen!

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have found these round real chicken treats. They fit great and takes along time to get out. I bought them because my cairn needed a challenge. Works wonderful. I found them at menards. Just dried chicken.

| Peanut butter, baby carrots, cheese chunks, ice cubes (my dogs think they are the greatest treats), green beans, cream cheese, banana chunks.

| You could try it again...Princess hated it as a young pup, but then kinda grew into it. And if he doesn't, he's not weird, he's a Yorkie! AKA notorious picky eatin' breed!

| What size kong do you all use? I got an extra-small for Sugar and wonder if a small would be better. She is 5 1/2 lbs (used to be 6.4 until her summer haircut and spay ) |

| I won't be much help either. I use plain low fat organic yogurt, and either some canned food, plain ground beef, plain ground turkey, plain chicken breast, or chicken baby food. I put plain peanut butter (no salt or sugar) in the ends, then freeze them. |

| Peanut butter and kibble combo is Tibbe's favorite.

| Just curious............. I see that some people put yogurt in the Kong and then freeze it. Tell me doesn't it get messy when it thaws if the pup doesn't eat it fast enough? I haven't actually tried yogurt cause I'm afraid of the dairy and I thought it would get messy. I'm asking cause I put the Kong in the crate with Henry when I go to work. He LOVES his Kong, but I normally do the peanut butter in the openings with kibble and raw carrots inside w/an occassional biscuit sticking out. And he is still working on some of it when I get home. |

I was thinking the same thing. Isn't this messy or do they eat it faster than it melts?
