| Hair Cut Time -Try cutting her hair as short as possible (without butchering it). Sounds like her medicine is keeping the ticks from actually latching on, but nothing will keep them from using her hair as a way to travel. Ticks are bad news... cut her hair or keep her out of the wooded areas. You can also put tick (insect) repellant around your yard. Give it some time to work before letting your dog loose in the yard. GOOD LUCK!!!

| What version of Frontline are you using? Different versions kill ticks at different stages of their life cycle.' It's more than possible that she is not the reason ticks are infesting your house, and the Frontline is keeping the ticks from feeding/reproducing on her, but it won't necessarily stop the ticks from crawling on her for a short time. |

| Thanks for the replies! She's on frontline plus ,the orange box..I live in an apartment where my back yard is like full of raccoons and possums so ever since I found that one tick I have not took her out at all, she goes on the pee pee pad and when I get home from work I actually drive her somewhere to walk her so she can release her energy.. So no new ticks could have been coming in.. |
