| Oravet - reaction? The vet gave Lucy some Oravet plaque preventer at our last visit. He said her teeth looked good - but this would help keep them that way. The product is a very waxy substance that you put on their teeth. He said it was originally developed for humans but no one liked the 'feel' of the wax on their teeth. Anyway, I used it on Lucy last Thursday evening and she refused to eat at all on Friday; she also had mild diarrhea. Saturday she was eating again and I fixed her up a little chicken and rice. She has also been on antibiotic ear drops for an ear infection so not sure what is causing what. Do you think that the Oravet could have upset her tummy? Or that she didn't like the wax on her teeth? Or am I just projecting????

| Very possible. The texture makes it seem like it would be nauseated. It makes me a couple hand washes to even get it off my fingers. Might want to try again after the ear med is gone, but if it happens again, definitely discontinue.
