| Any recommendations? We use Frontline Plus and are needing to find a soap free shampoo for Minnie. I have learned that I have washed off her flea & tick preventative. I want something that is good for her coat, and make it shine but at the same time not wash away the monthly flea treatment. |

| I would like to know this too. My husband and I just came back from visiting my sister in NW Arkansas and when we came home I found 2 ticks on my little Libby!! I thought it would be too early, but I was very wrong. I have never used anything before in over 25 years. Have never had any problem. Now we have purchased a home down there and will be moving this summer after this house sells in ND. (retirement!) Also, does it matter the size of a dog when you apply this treatment? I have a 2# and 2 1/2# dogs. The 2 1/2# is still a puppy so will be growing a little more. I worry about them being so small and it harming them somehow. Do you use a full treatment on ones this tiny? |

YT 1000 Club Member | We don't bathe our guys all that often... We use Oatmeal, and some other Fragrant Shampoos, but we always RE-apply the Flea drops after a bath. Though I'm confident that the Drops work, we back that up with Flea Collars too. I always let both of mine go for a few hours after their baths before I put the Drops on. I like to pet and hold them when they are nice and clean and those darn drops feel yucky when I pet them, lol

YT 2000 Club Member | I give my dogs a bath before a treatment then about a week later.. My vet has also said NO bath for at least 3 days after you apply the treatment. I havent had any issues doing it this way.

| I agree with the "no bath for 3 days" advice..... We do not bathe for 3 days before or after treatment w/ Frontline Plus.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I've always waited at least 3 days and have never had any problems with the treatments washing off. I use a mild oatmeal shampoo, but not really sure if that makes a difference.

| I do not give a bath 3 days after and I do not give a bath 3 days before. My vet said the oil in the coat/skin helps the medicine to be absorbed better. Not sure if that is true but it works for me
