| Sasha just ate pizza rolls I'm more mad at myself than anything because it's my fault. Basically, I was in my bedroom eating lunch, made myself a plate of pizza rolls with some ranch dressing. The phone in the house rang and I heard my dad get up to answer it and heard him talking so I assumed everything was ok. My mom came home a few minutes later and she noticed right away that my dad's blood sugar was low (he's a diabetic) so right away I left my room to go help. I shut my bedroom door to keep Sasha in my room so she'd be out of the way since she tends to just bark during a situation like this. I thought I had stuck my plate on my desk. At first, she was barking and pawing at my door but I happened to notice later that it got quiet. Once things got under control, I went to check on her, found her standing on the floor licking her chops, looked at the plate which I hadn't put on my desk but left on my bed and it was completely empty, not even a crumb, just the plate and the napkin. I was mad at her but more mad at myself because I thought I had put it on my desk but I hadn't. I'm not sure how many were left on the plate, just enough to not give her any treats for the rest of the day though (she typically gets a small treat when she comes in from pottying outside, a biscuit after dinner and a bigger treat right before bed). Should I be worried though because she ate quite a few? I guess what worries me the most is the grease. There isn't tons on them, plus they were leftovers from yesterday that I just stuck in a frying pan to warm them up, but she never eats people food except healthy things like carrots or cheese. I'm anticipating her to either throw up later or have loose poop or diarrhea. |

| I don't see where it might be toxic for her...but I'd definitely keep an eye on her...watch her to see if she vomits or gets diarrhea... but she'll probably be just fine. They are sneaky little things!

| Yeah I know they won't kill her but I know it definitely isn't the best thing for her to eat (probably isn't the best thing for me to be eating either =P ) but I just wanted to make sure! Plus, I needed to vent a little to lol. |

| Not toxic, but I'd be pretty concerned about her pancreas getting angry (even more so if they had pepperoni or sausage in them). All you can do now is watch for GI upset. Some will obviously be normal. If it's more than a couple episodes of diarrhea or vomiting, then there is cause for concern.

| Oh my gosh, pizza rolls. I think she will be fine. I cannot give anything greasy to my Elsa because it does upset her stomach. Just take her out the minute she wants to go(if she is ouside trained) or...keep them pads handy!!.... It will probably wont do nothing bad to her but each dog is their own. I cannot stand pizza rolls but I am sure my little one would!!! LOL |

| Well I thought I'd update everyone on how Sasha's doing. Her stomach was a little upset this morning which I figured it would be. She was coughing, gagging and hacking. I'm pretty sure she was throwing up but she wouldn't let it come all the way out of her mouth (she always had a tendency of throwing up and then eating it after, plus she'd always run and hide after she threw up because I think she thinks she would get in trouble, poor thing) and she'd end up swallowing it so she kept coughing and gagging repeatedly. It looked like some of it was bile since some dripped from her mouth and it was yellow. For breakfast, I boiled up some rice and instead of giving her primal like she always gets in the morning, I gave her the rice with her kibble, which I know even that may have been risky with an upset tummy, but I wanted to get something other than rice in her stomach. She ate it up no problem and shortly after went outside and had a normal bowel movement. I had to wash her little face since it had gotten stinky and brushed her teeth to (I swear, I take better care of her than I do myself! lol) so now she's laying with me on my bed in between my legs resting. I just made myself some lunch which she was eyeballing but I'm definitely not leaving the plate and her together alone this time lol. |
