| Help with vacinations Phoebe is 4 months old now and scheduled for a visit to the vet tomorrow. She is going to want to give her , her rabies vacine and a lymes vacine. I am very worried. i don't think she needs the lymes being that she doesn't even go out side to use the bathroom and I keep front line her. And I think it is too early for rabies. The breeder said to try and hold off on it for 1 year. Hopefully someone has some insight on this. |

i have never heard of waiting for 1 year for the rabies. all dogs need the rabies when they are puppies. you can wait until they are six months old if you want. i got my apple's rabies when she was 5-6months and she was just fine. didn't even phase her. the lymes shot is optional. i didnt' get it for apple either because she is not outside that much. i would say deff. get the rabies by six months and wait on the lymes until she needs it, if she ever does. | |

| Rabies Vac I would wait until your baby is 6 months old if you can. I have heard that it is much better to wait, if you can. Especially because you don't even take your puppy outside. Verena |

| I would wait to get the rabies, if your puppy isn't outside, how will it get exposed to rabies? and Lymes is the same. it is your puppy, the vet has to do as you want.

| I always have them done at 6 months or later. The law says 4 months here, but, I do not have it that early...No shots within 2 weeks of each other. I use the latest vaccine recommendations of 8-12-16 months; no corona; no lepto.. |
