I thought I posted this yesterday, but can't find it, so here I go again.

My Sadie loves white rice. Is it safe to give her about a tablespoon a day, or could this cause diabetes?

When giving extra food - the rule of thumb is to NOT give more than 10 percent of the entire intake. Otherwise, you throw the balance of the pre-balanced diet (kibble, canned, raw etc...AAFCO certified) out of balance.

I cook Bently's food and the main ingredient is brown rice. I used to use white rice but switched.

He gets about 4 tablespoons per day.
