| Raw food & puppies Rosie started on nature's path raw, lamb about 2 weeks ago. I think she's doing ok and she certainly likes it! I was wondering, do I need to add any vitamin supplements? I was told she only needs 2 oz a day. She's 2lb 10 oz at the moment and 6 months old. Is this correct? Is there a formula I should be aware of? I found a local supplier who will charge me $18 for 20lbs or $10 for 10lbs. They are cut into 4oz blocks so she could eat half one day and half the next, if I calculate how I was told. Anything else I should be aware of if I continue with the raw diet? |

| Oops, it's nature's variety. ALso, they don't make lamb but he makes chicken or beef or bison |

| Nature's Variety and other pre-made raw brands are completely balanced so you don't need to add anything! As far as amount goes, I've just followed the guidelines listed on the bag and adjusted it for our own personal needs. For instance, if I give 2 medallions and they start to gain weight, I knock it down to 1 1/2 and vice versa. It's all about what works for you! Every dog will have different requirements based on their weight, genetics, and activity level.
