| PetSmart FYI - I was really surprised today. I stopped by my local PetSmart and was just wandering up and down each isle. They have started carrying 3 new petfoods- Wellness, Organix and Avoderm. I wonder what prompted this? |

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | I have fed the Wellness & glad to hear they are now carrying it. I didn't see it here though recently. They also carry Blue Buffalo which is what Bella is now on.

| Really? I knew PetCo had Wellness but never knew PetSmart had Wellness or the other brands. I've seen a whole bunch of the Blue commercials (I think from PetSmart) so I think there's a big move to healthier dog food maybe. |

| There was a thread somewhere on YT a couple of months ago saying that Petsmart was fixing to start carrying Wellness. Someone on there said they thought it had something to do with the Wellness company being bought out by a different company...maybe Proctor & Gamble? But I could be wrong...I only vaguely recall the thread. Personally, I'm excited about it because a lot of Petsmart's items are cheaper than Petco's. It'll be nice to only have to go in one store instead of going to Petsmart for toys, harnesses, etc and then Petco just for dog food. -C

| I saw Wellness at Petsmart this week, I'm so excited about it! Wellness has made a world of difference in my little Mocha. Having it at Petsmart means a shorter trip to buy food! |

| PetSmart I think that Eagle Pack was bought out by Wellness. Eagle Pack manufactures the Holistic Select Line. I think that Holistic Select and Wellness are both excellent dry foods. |

| Wellness is slowly but surely becoming available at all Petsmarts. (I work at Petsmart & we're hoping to get Wellness at our store by the end of this month). A few months ago, we changed our floor plans to make room for the expanded Blue Buffalo line, Organix, Castor & Pollux & Avoderm foods. |

| I have a quick question about Avoderm. I was looking on the thread about dangerous/no-no foods and avacado was stressed as being very bad because of a natural ingredient (can't think of the name). How can a company sell a dog food with just such an ingredient as this when it can be deadly? Just wondering..... |

You can feel quite confident in AvoDerm Natural® pet products safety and nutritional value. In the over 30 years since Breeder’s Choice first introduced this product line, millions of dogs and cats worldwide have consumed AvoDerm Natural® with no negative reactions from avocado oil or meal. AvoDerm Natural® pet products use only carefully selected suppliers of avocado meal and avocado oil. Years of problem-free consumption of these products indicate that AvoDerm products are not only safe for dogs and cats, but also provide vital nutrients for them. Dr. Art Craigmill, UC Davis, Professor and Extension Specialist in Environmental Toxicology has said that his studies and other research in the United States and Australia have shown that the problem of toxicity is in the leaves and the pit of the Guatemalan variety; the avocado meat of the fruit and oils have not been shown to be toxic. AvoDerm Natural pet products do not utilize any Guatemalan variety avocados, nor do we use any leaves or pits of any variety of avocados for our avocado meal and oil. AvoDerm Natural® - Why Avocados?
