| I bought PetPlan insurance for our yorkie puppy . I wished we would of had it for our last little girl because it would of helped on the medical bills. We did everything for her without pet insurance. I guess it is a peace of mind when a sickness or accident occurs. I talked to many pet insurance companies and PetPlan was my decision. Check out the pet insurance companies and talk to them in person. Hope this helps you. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I have VPI . I used it last year for an accident it paid about 50%. just keep in my there are breed specific exclusions under most plans. You do pay up front and then submit for reimbursement. It does give me peace of mind that if anything was to happen I will have some assistance with the bill. One other thing, I found the info on line very confusing I would suggest calling and speaking to customer service, have some scenarios to ask about.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have a 6yr old (Wylie), a 3 yr old (Marcel), and now a puppy (Pfeiffer). I got PetPlan for Pfeiffer and will do so, I'm pretty sure, for all puppies going forward. I do not have ins. for Wylie or Marcel.
