| A tick! Vectra 3-D? Yesterday I found a tick on Baron and didn't want to risk anything, so I ran to the nearest vet to get it removed. The vet recommended Vectra 3-D. It was $84 but I was in panic mode at that time and ignorantly agreed to get it. I went home and read previous forums that contained frightening stories about it. So I decided to go back to the vet today to ask if I can get a refund or perhaps another medication. The receptionist stalled time and kept questioning me about what exactly I heard about Vectra and I explained to her the stories, how it's a fairly new medication, and how it's just too much for my yorkie. 10 minutes later, she tells me that the vet says it's the safest medication out there and left the medication on the counter... :/ I don't know if i should just try it out or toss it out. Or go back and try asking to get another product.

| They should take it back if its unopened. I also was ignorant about Vectra when the vet prescribed it and used the product. I was still finding ticks on Max after using it. They refunded me the money since it obviously not working.

| Stick to your guns! Insist that they either refund your money or exchange the Vectra for Advantix. Vectra 3D is manufactured exclusively for Banfield by Hartz. They have a financial stake in pushing their own products. Hartz has a terrible reputation. HartzVictims.org - One More Victim is One Too Many |

| I agree with Ladymom. Advantix works great for my Rosie. They should take it back without questions but we all know how that goes. Is this your regular vet? |
