| Flexicose I am getting ready to order this product and I was wondering if anyone has tried it. I have researched Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM products and this one really impresses me. There is only ONE actual Flexicose the same product is marketed with different labels for humans, pets and atheletes. I like the idea that the products that I am giving to my furkids is "human safe". I am actually purchasing this for ME and for Boo the Boxer but I am thinking that I will incorporate it with the Yorkies as well. Here is a link to more information about the product if anyone is interested: Flexicose Questions - On Sale Now for $18.99 . |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Bridget has been diagnosed with LP and her Vet has her on Chondro-Flex II tablets with Glucosamine500mgSodium Chondroitin Sulfate400mgAscorbate (Manganese Ascorbate)66mgManganese10mgMSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) 99.9%)250mg she is to take 1/4 tablet a day - of course she hates them - and it's a struggle to get it in her - (even crushed with her food). I'm looking for something she WILL take....I looked at the site you posted and can't find where it tells how much of anything there is in them. Can you point me in the right direction?

| Hi Cindy! I've used flexicose for myself and Libby, because she has LP. I wanted the liquid because I saw such an amazing improvement in my sister's yorkie many years ago. He had gotten so crippled up he couldn't run, jump, or do any of the things he did when he was younger. Her groomer suggested she start him on Flexicose and I can't remember how long it took, but that little dog was running and jumping and acting just like a puppy. I think you will be impressed with this product. I used to get mine on their website and now I get it on ebay as I can get better deals.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i've always given morgan cosequin but i just read through the FAQ on the Flexicose page and it looks great for me and morgan. hmm, 0.2tsps is 1/5 tsp right? so a little less then 1/4 tsp daily for yorkies and 1 1/2 for people.

| Thank you very much for your replies I'm glad you found it. Quote:
That's what I understand. I just placed my order via ebay with free shipping and can't wait to give it a try. From all of the research that I have done it seems like liquid Glucosamine is better absorbed by the body than tablet or powder form. | |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i was looking at the website some more and saw they sold another product called Synflex which they have in 3 different types (originial, 1500, and pets). there are small differences between each of them and the flexicose in ingredients. what made you choose flexicose over synflex

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Connie told me about it a couple of months ago so I ordered it and have my 3 on it. It is so easy to put in their food as it is liquid. I gave it to Nikki one day and he immediately threw up about 5-6 times. I don't know if that was from the Flexicose or just a coincidence. My 3 girls have had no problems on it. Nikki is 15 so maybe his system just couldn't handle it.

| I've used Flexicose for some years now, and it is amazing...After hurricane Ike, it took me about 2 weeks to get it again (I'd left it in the fridge, and, of course, the electricity was out for about a week)...Wow, could I tell a difference, not taking it...I knew the formula was the same for pets and people, and gave it to Apple, for a while, and she readily took it...Then all for a sudden she refused it, so I don't give it to her anymore...I think it's about the best glucosamine/chondroitan out there... |

| I'm just seeing this thread so I haven't had a chance to google it yet. I've wanted to find a good liquid form for a while. Is this something I can buy locally? Who carries it?
