| Is this serious? My 1 1/2 yr. old Yorkie got her rabbies and distemper vaccination 3 days ago. The next day she seemed to be shivering on and off. That has stopped, but she is not her usual VERY playful self. This morning she wanted to play, and after fetching for a while I saw that she had vomited a little. It looked like her food that she finished eating a little while before. Should I be concerned??? |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! I have stopped getting the Rabies and DHPP together(on the same day) because its just too much to give these little ones all at one time. It will take 3-7 days for a pup to recover and start feeling themselves. It is recommended to separate the Rabies vac by 4-6 weeks of any other vaccines, and not to give the Leptospirosis vaccine at all to little dogs. I think it would be safe to allow your pup a few more days to recover, but if she continues to vomit, definitely put a call in to your vet. You can find more info on vaccines in the YorkieTalk Library at: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-overview.html and http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...tz-2-10-a.html
