Need advice...how long till Kennel Cough is caught - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knows how quickly a dog can show signs of Kennel cough after being exposed? We had our first playdate with another yorkie yesterday and today I noticed my baby is sorta wheezing and coughing. Is it possible for her to have caught Kennel cough so quickly it hasn't even been 24 hrs. Thanks for the help!

There is around a 2-14 day incubation period accoding to Google.

24 hours is not enough time to start showing signs of kennel cough

I think I was being a little paranoid. She seems fine now I just thought it was kinda weird that she all of sudden had the cough but again I just think I was being over protective. Geesh having a puppy and a daughter I am going to have grey hair (ok more grey hair).
