| Cooper Threw Up Twice Since Yesterday Last week Cooper went to the vet and we found out he had a throat infection. After antibiotics he seemed 100% better. Yesterday around 4pm he threw up. It was red, like pasta sauce (sorry). The only thing red he has is Purina treats (which I'm getting rid of along with all the other crap). He didn't seem ill at all. This morning he threw up yellow. He used to do this when he was a puppy and he was hungry, however he ate a full bowl of food last night. He also ate a nice portion of his bully stick, which he's never had before. Being an overly protective mama, we are going to the vet this morning. I'm fairly certain the throat infection is a completely separate issue. And maybe the vomiting is not a big deal. He always did that from time to time.

| I should also add that at night he's been licking his lips. I just read online that it could be a sign of nausea and stomach problems. Now I'm a bit worried.

We are going to the vet in 1/2 hour. I'm hoping it's because of his new treats I got him last week....over the counter Purina chews. Garbage, now.

| We just got back from the vet. Of course Cooper acted like his wild, crazy self with no sign of anything. The vet thinks because his vomit was so red last night it must be die used in the treats She has no explanation for him licking his lips because the physical came back normal. We also did a SNAP CPL blood test and came back negative for pancreatis. I brought home Hills Prescription Diet I/D. Cooper has always had Science Diet, so it shouldn't be an issue. This particular type should aid in any stomach issues. Am I just being paranoid with Cooper? I hate that I don't know if there is something wrong with him.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | No, you aren't being paranoid. The good news is that his labs are normal, so hopefully this is just a stomach bug. The yellow vomitting sounds like it could just be bile from having an empty stomach. I hope he feels better soon. (And isn't just like these little guys to perk up the second you walk through the vet's doors? Just like kids and the pediatrician's office.) |

I'm going to give it a few days without treats or anything. I'm also going to feed him the same time every day and start that routine. We keep his food out all day long and he eats at 10:30pm, right before bed so I'd like to change that. We just played ball for 1/2 hour and he appears fine. it's just night time that is the issue.
