Vomitting hair and eating hair again - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Lolli has had a sudden phase of vomitting, she doesn't seem lethargic at all and there doesn't seem to be any food type stuff in it. It's just like white foam and hairs inside and that's all that's in it.

So then I notice she's going into areas that might have a bit of cat or human hair collected like in the corner of a room and there was some around my bed I didn't notice from when I just vacuumed and EATING IT.

Why is she eating the hair and then throwing it up? It doesn't seem like an allergy or sickness, it just seems like she's puking from the hair only (I've read they can get sort of like hairballs too not sure how true this is) but she's eating it on purpose?

Well, I'm no expert by any means. Think I'd vac again (in & around base boards). Is he eating & drinking? Might call the vet & see what he/she has to say. White foam doesn't sound good. Keep us posted.

White foam is like the biles from their tummy because there's nothing in it. She has been eating and drinking normally except for before and a bit after her vomitting spells. But always drinks good no matter what. I did vacuum after I noticed she went to eat it. She vomitted up the last bit she ate and hasn't ate or vomitted more hair since. I'm not sure what it was all about.
