Poop eating poop playing puppy~

I decided to crate my puppy this morning because of her bad bathroom habits and when I arrived home today she was covered in poop, the poop she didn't eat. I got up this morning at 4:30 to feed her and give her time to poop before I left for work at 7:30. She did a little poop and then I put her in her crate at 7:30. She has been pooping about 3 times per day. Is there any way to keep her from eating poop and when will she stop? My other two only did this a few times but she seems to eat ALL her poop!

Bailey was never a poop eater - so I don't have a specific answer for that.

However, I feed her raw and she poops just once a day - so maybe if your baby pooped once a day and if it was quickly picked up - you could relax the rest of the day?

i was told by a friend that the reason dogs eat their poop is because they smell the dog food in their poop. in other words if they eat a cheap dog food that passes to fast through their system it comes out smelling the same as when they ate it...yuk
a better quality food digests much better so the poop doesnt smell like dog food.

I read somewhere that feeding them pineapple will make there poop taste bad to them.

I am feeding her Wellness Brand food and treats. I know this is gross but she has the worst smelling poop! My other two girls have what I consider normal smelling poops....like you have to see it to know it's their. When Gracie poops it stinks up the whole room and it must be flushed.
