| The Babies got their first shots today! Took the kids to the vet and I had a really good talk before we decided to go ahead with the shots. Cooper was exactly 2# and Diva was 1#12oz. She (vet) did a really good check up on both of them. Said they were beautiful babies..... great coats, clear eyes and ears, good body mass, not to fat and very well socialized. It really made me feel good! We just did the 1 core vaccine and wormed them. Neither one of them had any problem at all! Not one sound for shot or temp being taken!! I got benadryl and did give 1 dose to Cooper. He just got kind of whiney after we got home. They both took naps and they are up running around almost like normal. They even ate some dinner tonight! I'm going to get their next shots on April 12th. Wait a week after that and then they'll be ready to go I really want to keep them both..........but............

| I am glad all went well!! So are you keeping one or finding homes for both of them? It's hard letting them go, you get so attached and there is nothing like a puppy to lift your spirits.

| I'm still not sure about keeping one. I REALLY want to, but I'm going to be working more hours this spring... my boss has some trips that she has to take so I would have to leave the pupper home with no human supervision more than I'd like to. Still a little bit worried on the Diva's size. She's been catching up, but still under 2#.... My first baby was about 3#....I was very luck and had no problems, but I want what's best for her. Will just have to wait and see if I can find them the homes I want them to go into!
