Yorkie Yakker | Am I just being a worried Yorkie mommy? Hello YorkieTalk! I'm new to this site, Zoey and I, and we wanted to ask you.... Zoey is going to be spayed tomorrow. I know it's the best thing and all that and she IS going to get it done but, I feel terrible about it. I'm afraid she's going to act different or be mad at me or something. I don't know, I'm just being a worried mom but I was wondering if someone could give me some peace of mind? Will my Zoey Lynn be ok? I am going to do this because I know it's the right thing to do.

| I felt terrible too but my Morgan was absolutely back to normal the next day. She never licked at her stitches and never had to wear a cone. She only needed the pain meds the next day and then she was done. It's been a few weeks now and she's completely healed. It will be okay!

| Welcome to YT. Is Zoey coming home today, or will she be staying at the vet's overnight? Wishing you and Zoey a speedy recuperation! |

| I was also very worried when Daisy was spayed, particularly because she barely weighed 4 lbs. I felt much better after authorizing all of the pre-surgical bloodwork needed, so that there were no surprises. Our vet used dissolveable stitches, and there was no need for the dreaded 'cone of shame.' She slept the day of her surgery, but the next day we were fighting to keep her from climbing on the furniture and chasing the cats! Try not to worry too much, I'm sure it will be fine! Best wishes........................

Yorkie Yakker | Hello everyone, thank you all for easing my mind. I will be getting Zoey tonight, the drop off time was 8AM and I have yet to hear from them. Is this normal? they said about three hours and it's been almost five. I'm missing my baby so much I just want her home.

Yorkie Yakker | Zoey is home, laying in her bed and ignoring me lol. She is so mad! I know she will get over it soon. She looks like she is in some pain but I already gave her her meds. Anyway, thank you all so much! I'm gonna go back to kissing up to my pup lol.
