| Mine was uinder 2lbs when I got him and he was about 3 months old! I was ignorant back then adn I thought I had me a "teacup" whixh iwas one of the reasons I got him. Now Hugo is about 6 lbs. Like the other poster responded, sometimes they have a growth spurt and sometimes they do not. What is important is that Kisses is healthy and that is half the battle. I hope this was useful! |

| It's so hard to say! Wrigley was 1.13lbs at 12 weeks when we got her! She grew to 6lbs even! So anything is possible!

| Bandit weighed 1 pound 6 oz, at 11 weeks, and now weighs 4.5 pounds. He is really skinny, if he had some meat on his bones he'd be 6 pounds. |

| My Tootsie weighed 1 pound 7 oz. at 14 weeks. Now she weighs 5 pounds and is going to be 2years old in April. She weighed 4 pds till spayed than shot to 5 within 1 year... By charts at 14 weeks weight she should have gotten to 3 1/2 pounds? I am thrilled she is 5 pounds I do not worry as much!!!! Lol She is still a picky eater though! But since she got bigger no more hypoglycemia!!!! Yay!!!!

| just my input I don't mean to insult you in any way, shape or form... but I have seen a trend going around in our area. We have puppy expos where "breeders" bring their puppies and sell them as micros or mini's because they are so tiny - well, the vet here says that they sell them as 12 week olds but some still have no teeth! The vet in the area is my aunt and she said just last week a woman brought in a pocket sized schnauzer that was guaranteed to weigh 4 lbs... he was supposed to be 12 weeks old but he had no teeth and weighed 1 lb, 7 oz. The breeder hadn't gotten the papers but would be mailing them which would make me run in a heartbeat. If they are registered - a bad breeder could lie on their birthdates to market them as micros Again, I am not saying this has occured - and yours may be very small - but it is a trend going around here in Texas. |

| My puppies when I have sold them at 12 weeks and up have been 1.5 lbs to almost an even 2 lbs they have all stayed at 2.5 lbs to 3.5 lbs at 1 yrs old and this past litter they have all ranged in the same weights. And they are now about 10 mths old. They have all stayed in the weights I have said they would be. My parents are small and so are the lines they have come from. I know there are no Ch. in my lines so there is no possibility of having an oops my puppy grew to be 5-7 or more lbs. I have seen where my parents came from and my parents parents. The breeders have shown me some of the other puppies that they kept in touch with and I've spoken to other breeders who have puppies from my breeders whom I've gotten mine from. Mine and theirs weren't small puppies born of standard size Yorkies and then bred. They were just small Healthy Yorkies born of long lines of small Healthy Yorkies.
