| Twinkie hates her food Hello! My name is Kim and my babies name is Twinkie ! I am a huge fan of YT and have learned so much. I want to thank all of you. I have had Twinkie for six months and at first she was a pretty good eater. Now...she hates any food I give her. I have her on Blue and I just bought the new Blue which is fish based instead of chicken. I have tried mixing with wet food, putting the wet food on the side of the dry food; you name it I have done it. I have read many posts that suggest baby food, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. Any suggestions? I will be forever grateful! |

| My Brooklynn is about the same age, and we had the same trouble with food. Only, she wanted to eat wet food only. I introduced her to Wellness, after my Vet recommended it... and she loves it. We are still doing the purple puppy can/bag...but she loves it! Good luck to you!! I am sure the vetran YT'ers will have alot of advice for you!

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I've had mine on Life's Abundance for almost 2 years now and they love it. I wean all my puppies on it and they really take to it fast and weaning them has been so easy. My adults eat very well The little chubbers, haha Quote:

| Thanks for the advice! I am willing to try anything at this point. She would much rather eat her duck snacks! |

| To help Chi-Chi eat her meals, sometimes I take a small piece of her favorite snack and break it up into crumbs and mix the crumbs in her food ... that may help. |

| My Chloe is the same way!!! I have found for mine at least she loves when I take her wet food mix in the dry and pop it in the microwave with a tiny bit of water for maybe 30 seconds ..makes a huge difference warm I guess. Oh and if shes particularly fussy on any given day Ill dice carrots into it as she loooves carrots. hope you find what works for you.

| I had a different name picked out for her, then my son came home from school and decided her name should be Twinkie because of her size. I guess she was the same size as her name! As for her food fetish, I have fried ground turkey and baked chicken and placed it on her food and what do you know...she will pick that out and eat it! I have crushed it to make smaller pieces, placed it in the microwave, added pieces of her favorite snack and she still doesn't eat her hard food. What a little devil! Lol I have to say she is more rotten than both of my boys put together! |

YT 500 Club Member | My Rosie went from eating her food with gusto to picking at it even when I added a little boiled chicken or lamb. Then next time I boiled the chicken or rabbit I redused the liquid left then let it to cool into a jelly. I keep this in the fridge then at mealtimes take a small amount and water it down, about 50/50, then heat it in the micro-wave for 1 minute before mixing it into their food. They love, clean dishes everytime. If I dont have any of this I shred up the meat very finely, add water then heat before pouring the liquid on the food, works like a charm everytime. |

| I was looking at all of the recipes and I copied and pasted so many of them. Twinkie will be my little tester to see what her likes and dislikes are, but I am willing to do whatever it takes! Thanks again everyone! |
