| You may want to try mixing in some watered down beef broth to the new dry food if you find a resistance to dry food. That may help with the transition from wet to dry, just make sure to refridgerate the broth and warm at feeding time. If the food is to cold it can cause stomach up set.

| If it were me- i would swtich to a MUCH better food (Your vet probably doesn't know a lot about dog nutrition- not many vets do) And add soemthing like canned pumpkin or all bran cereal or apple to her diets to help with with the fiber. The better food will help her overall health SO much and there are very easy ways to add fiber naturally! |

I agree, and the better diet may eliminate anal gland issues, or you could add pumpkin which has a lot of fiber. | |

YT 3000 Club Member | check out halo dog food the fiber is 6.5% much better than science diet, ellen degeneres is part owner, chester has somewhat the same issue I feed solid gold wee bit it is 4% fiber, the science diet is nothing but saw dust with their high fiber say away from that crap |
