| ![]() Hi, all, we are going to Fl the first week in April. We have already rented a place that will allow us to bring Smokie. Well my question is, will he be ok with the warmer temps, the sun ect. We live in Indiana. I just got him in Nov. I've had dogs all my life but not a Yorkie, he is my first. I've read here where they can be more sinsitive than other dogs. I mean I'm not taking him to the beach and stayin all day or anything cause we are staying right on the beach so we can go in for while. bty he's doing great with his heartworm treatment so far yah....... | ![]() What's the weather like the first week in April in Florida? It's been around the 60s here in CA, and I haven't shaved Otis's winter coat yet. He's soooo fluffy right now, he looks like a chubby little fat boy. But I can tell he's getting hot because recently, I'll find him sprawled out with his belly on the cold floor. I'm going to shave him down around the first of March. How long will you be in Florida? You can keep Smokie's hair long until you get to Florida, and if he seems miserable, shave him down!! |

| ![]() Hi, most of the time it's between 75 & 80 the first of April. We can only stay 5 days. But I'll take all my grooming stuff in case I need it. Thanks for this site I've learned so much here. Just wish I could cut his hair like the groomers do. I'll just practice. Poor Smokie lol ![]() Thanks again Debbie Doo |
