| Do yorkies need lunch? When is the appropriate age/weight to switch Munki (6months and almost 3lbs female) to just breakfast and dinner, no more lunch??? |

| I would say that you are there now. It really depends on the dog however. If you find that she is a slow eater, it might be better to feed her smaller meals, 3x a day. I would make sure that if you were to go 2x a day, do it a bit gradually so she can get used to the long time between meals. Sometimes I will give them a treat of some cottage cheese in the middle of the day.

| I am all for free feeding! I free feed Zack and he loves it. But, I bring Munki with work to me so she eat breakfast at home and then we ride to work and I've been feeding her lunch around 12ish and dinner when we get home...so should I skip the lunch ritual and just give her a snack if she seems hungry?? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have my 3 on 3 meals a day. The third meal is smaller than the other two.

| I home cook and feed them twice a day their main food, then for lunch they will get either dried fruit, apple, tangerines, yogurt or cottage cheese. Not too much of any of these. I find that by regulating their meal, I know exactly when they need to poop. (not to mention how healthy they are)
