Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Single Dose Vaccines in Southern California?? Hi, I am going to ask this one time to see if it helps me any, otherwise I am just going to do what Jean Dodd advised me over the phone to do for my Yorkie and also for my Lab. I am having a difficult time finding a vet near me or even one within a 100 miles (or more) who carries or is willing to get a single dose vaccine of Parvo and of Distemper (MLV). I have managed to find the Parvo, but that really does me no good if I can't get the distemper by itself later. I live in San Bernardino County but am often in Los Angeles County near San Dimas, La Verne, Glendora, Covina etc... My husband also works in Riverside County. So I am willing to travel a wide range to obtain them if possible. Problem is, it doesn't seem possible! I may have to just resort to giving Molly on dose of the DPV at 16 weeks. Thought I would ask if any of you know of a place where I can get the single dose vials of the two mentioned before I go to plan B. Thanks! Lisa Last edited by mismolly; 01-23-2010 at 12:02 PM. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Thank you. Those were good suggestions. However the one doesn't sell vaccines and the other doesn't have what I am looking for either. At this point am I just going to settle on the DVP. I was told a vet in town does give that one. I am hoping that I was given the correct information! |

I just checked out the website and gave them a call. They sell the DPV, so I may just get that and give them their shots myself. Does anyone in my error want to buy any of them from me? I will have many extras! Will sell them for what I paid for them if anyone wants any. My other option would be to buy the Pravo by itself and the Disptemper with Adenovirus. But again no Distemper by itself. I just need to decide now which way I want to go... I can go in town for the DPV, but for the two dogs, I will probably be paying them more since they require an office visit fee each time. So again I am face with another decision! I just tried calling Jean and she is out of the country until Feb. something. | |
