| More advice needed re: transitioning Lulu to Wellness i posted previously that i'd begun transitioning lulu (18 weeks) from the eukanuba she came with to wellness puppy. i began with very small amounts of the new food last sunday. she had diarrhea all night sunday, and monday and tuesday nights she got me up every 2 hours to go. by wednesday things seemed to be "firming" up some although i was still shocked at how much was coming out of such a small girl! thursday, we were back to where we started with runny bms and this continued through yesterday although they weren't as frequent or as "explosive" (sorry, it's the only word i could think of) as they had been. she shows no signs of an upset tummy, and her energy and mood are great. my question is, how long would you guys wait before assuming something in the wellness doesn't agree with her? lulu loves the wellness food so much she will pick around the eukanuba so i really don't want to give up on it prematurely! any advice would be sooo appreciated!

| I remember reading someone else had issues when switching to Wellness, but it's a great food!! We were on Wellness for a while and they both really liked it and it's a high quality food. I really don't have any advice, except maybe try it a little longer because it is a good food and maybe you can give a little cottage cheese or plain yogurt to calm the stomach. Good luck! |
