| well....i almost hate to be the one to tell you this but, you did ask! i learned about them here myself. they are (ready?) a dried bull's penis. i was so grossed out by that i almost didn't buy them but so many people here rave about how much their yorkies love them, i gave in. sure enough...lulu went nuts the minute i gave her one. there are different qualities and i'm sure someone who knows more will chime in. i buy the merrick ones.

| There is a member here AMD that sells Bullysticks. Her website is westbrookdog.com I like her bullysticks because they come in various size and shapes and they dont stink as bad as the Costco brand. All our dogs LOVE them!!!!

| I have seen them called Flossies or Bully Sticks (and I thought they were tendons from the bull's penis) at any rate, Jack absolutely loves them. As a matter of fact, I need to get him another one as he has pretty much destroyed the last one I got him a couple weeks ago. Oh and Merrick makes them - not sure who else.

| They are sometimes called "pizzles" in England LOL! At first I didnt believe it was really a bulls penis, but there you go. I havent bought one yet, our dog likes tripe sticks. Do you have them over there? They smell gross but the dog loves them and they dont upset his stomach. BTW in case you didnt know, tripe sticks are lengths of cows intestine dried for chewing, no artificial additives and a very natural smell! |
