| How much does your Yorkie weight? Hello everyone, I was wondering if my little Phoebe weights good. She is 3.5 lbs and she is almost 6 months old. Is she too skinny ?

| Buddy was 6.5 at 6mos old. Today he is 16lbs at 6yrs old Yorkies come in all sizes. I would say yours is just petite and certainly in standard range. She may grow just a little more. |

| I have noticed since being on YT that alot of people have really tiny yorkies. Ella is 6.5 lbs. and she's a year and 3 months old. I think she's perfect b/c her weight is portioned well to her length and width. Looking at your little one she doesn't look that tiny which means to me she doesn't look too thin at all. =]

| Sophie is just over 1 year old and weighs just over 4lbs. She has a soft, thick coat so she looks like she weighs a little more until I give her a bath. With her hair wet she looks much smaller . She hasn't grown much since she was 8 months old but it's possible she might grow a little bit more for maybe another year I'm thinking.

| Oh, so because of your comments, Phoebe is proportioned. I donīt know if your yorkies have ever made like a cat sound ? 2 weeks ago I left Phoebe alone in my house and I left a recorder, because a I wanted to know if she cries when I leave her alone, so when I heard it I listened that she was crying and then a big sound (like a cat) just for 3 seconds and then she started to cry like a puppy again and then I heard like the cat sound again. First It scares me out, but when I listened all the audio she made this sound like 5 more times but I heard it far from the recorder. Does your yorkies do this sounds??

| Great idea! I have always wanted to know how Ella acts when she's home alone. I don't have any way to video tape her, but i do have a recorder. Next time she's alone i will deff. be taping her to see what kind of sounds she makes. I never even thought of doing that. Thanks for the idea. =] Quote:

| My Hutch was 10 pounds at 16 years. He was not fat - just big. He weighed around 8 pounds when he was 7 months. We loved every pound!

| Our little guy is 21 weeks old and weighs 3lbs 2oz. He looked so much bigger but I had him groomed right before Christmas and they took off way too much hair. My husband picked him up from the groomer and called me and said you wont believe how tiny he is... WOW, hair really makes a difference in "seeing" size.... |
