Carrots are our favorite treat Both Caesar and Lacy go crazy for carrots. We have "wine time" at 5:00 and they have "carrot time"! All of the comments that have been posted apply to these two. My husband is convinced that it is going to keep their eyes healthy!

Carrots.... My boy, Mr. Darcy loves carrots, which I only discovered yesterday! He is just one. Mine were cooked - are other posts referring to raw or cooked?

Ted is a huge fan of carrots, but after a recent scare with a raw baby carrot (choking and had to dig out of his throat), I'm too scared to give them uncooked. He had chomped it up into little bits as he always does; yet one little bit still got stuck in his throat. Be careful with the raw veggies. Always watch them.

Agreed-Carrots are Yorkie Crack We always steam them after slicing them into coins or we put them into a microwave safe bowl with a couple teaspoons of water, saran wrap and micro wave them for 1 1/2 mins. so they are soft. (and after waiting about 5-10 mins to cool or after running them under cool water) I heard that the baby carrots aren't great because they are treated with chlorine. While the amount is small and it is safe for humans, I am concerned it could affect a 8 lb. Yorkie so we always get the full size and just peel them. Its funny becasue as soon as he sees it, game on! He won't leave the kitchen until he gets one
