| ![]() Hi guys! I've reseached a lot about this issue, but I still seem to have one question. So, how old should the Yorkie be when you start brushing their teeth? And is there a puppy and adult toothpaste? -Thanks! ![]()

| ![]() I agree, the sooner they get used to your hands and a brush in their mouths, the better. If the puppy is small, I just put a touch of toothpaste on my finger and rub it around the gums and teeth. I like the toothpaste you get from the vet, I think it is called C.E.T. and comes in chicken and beef flavors. It leaves enzymes in the mouth that help to kill the bacteria that forms plaque on the teeth. But any kind of brushing is better than none at all, IMO.
