My Jada and Bogie are on advantage multi. This covers fleas,heartworm and other worms. I would like to know opinions on whether to use year round or not. My two use pee pads and are not outside hardly at all. I don't want to do anything to harm them and I just wondered if it hurts to not use it during the winter months as long as they have blood work done in the spring before starting up again.

Hi. You should ask your vet as they are most familiar with winter conditions and prevalent vectors in your area. Like here in Maryland, I have personally witnessed flying mosquitos when it was 17 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I use it year round, just because of that. Depending on the size of your Yorkies, I would maybe look into a decreased dose (more exact) if they are on the smaller side, and/or treat them every other month, but do ask your vet.
