| spaying I'm a first time Yorkie owner and My pup Mitsi is twelve weeks old. I'm very concerned with (when the time arrives) getting Her spayed. Will the risks of this procedure out do the good? Any advice is welcome |

| Hi and welcome to YT. According to what I've heard (on here) and from my vet, spaying your baby will help with prevent mammary types of cancers. While nothing is 100%, it definitely will reduce her chances to almost none. good luck with your little when the time comes, it will be harder on you then Misti. I am sure that someone will be on with more knowledge on this subject than I.
